HKGISA Member has won the Esri Young Scholars Award 2017

Mr. Kenneth Wong from the Department of Urban Planning and Design, Faculty of Architecture, the University of Hong Kong has won the Esri Young Scholars Award 2017 with his work titled “The Dirty of Loudness – Investigation on the traffic noise pollution to residents in Western District”. The impacts of traffic noise on the public heath of residents living in the Western District of Hong Kong were investigated in his project.

This July, he will be receiving the award at the 2017 Esri User Conference in San Diego, California. His work will also be displayed alongside other Young Scholar winners from other countries.
